Obsessive fangirly type living in Switzerland (via Australia and New Zealand). Favourite music is frequently subjected to the high rotation treatment, hence the name of this blog.
I also love to go to gigs, as much for the music as for the people watching (thank you, useless sociology degree!). Luckily for me, Zurich has quite a decent live music scene.
Comments, flames, queries, love etc etc here.

love your blog… keep them coming………………….
Just moved to Switzerland and looking for live music. This site is just what I needed!!!
Hi Suzy, welcome to Switzerland. You are in Basel, is that right? (from your comment on the EF). Yes, you should definitely make it down to ZH sometime if you can for a gig. I’m not too knowledgeable about the Basel scene, but I do know that Architecture in Helsinki are @ Kaserne Basel 24.04.11 – I might go because they aren’t playing in ZH, perhaps we can meet up? Otherwise, check this link for a good round up of what’s coming up:

Thanks for reading!
You missed quite the fun encore last night.
Patrick tried Land’s End, which he didn’t play in years, and messed it up quite badly. But he took it with humor. As did everybody else.
Liked the show a lot, and the night wasn’t too bad either. So I’m good.
I like your blog, I’ll keep reading it. Till next time (One of a Million?)
Tom.
Hey, you found me! Good work :) Yeah, I was gutted to miss the encore last night – actually I watched him attempt to play ‘Land’s End’ from the back of the hall, but then got too freaked out about missing the last train etc etc and left. But I know I’ll see him again, so it’s ok :)
See you at a gig sometime, One of a Million if not before – if you ever want to check something out in ZH, let me know. It was nice meeting you. Oh, and thanks for reading :)
Cheers
Cherie
