Whenever an Oz band or musician rolls into town I always make an extra effort to see them, because, you know, a friendly face/accent in the crowd is nice when you are far from home. And also because Australian artists tend to be rather amazing and talented – is it something in the water? So needless to say I’ll be there when Julia Stone pulls into Zurich for a solo gig at Plaza, ZH, next Saturday 13.10.12. I’ll try to restrain myself from breaking out the Oz flag :)

Also known as one half of the much loved indie folk duo Angus & Julia Stone (Angus is her brother), Julia released her second solo outing, By The Horns, earlier this year, after recording and mixing it in California, France, India, Australia, and New York.
