My first (inane, shallow and totally irrelevant) question upon hearing about The Tallest Man On Earth (aka Swedish indie folk singer/songwriter Kristian Matsson) gig was – is he really tall? Well, I don’t know, but I guess I’ll have a chance to find out when he hits up Kaufleuten, ZH, for a sold-out show on Monday, 08.10.12.
His latest album, the highly-praised There’s No Leaving Now, is a beautifully-wrought collection of impassioned, thoughtful folk songs, and I’m keen to see how he brings that intimacy to life on the stage.
