And we have lift off – the 37th Winterthurer Musikfestwochen starts today! Twelve days of sunshine, fab music (incl. lots of free stuff), open air cinema and all-round good end-of-summer vibes. You’ll be there, won’t you?
As usual, the festival has a bumper programme, with freebie concerts from likes of Isbells, Max Prosa, The Bianca Story, Ewert and the Two Dragons, Kettcar, The Hundred in the Hands, and Bitch Queens, as well as paid concerts on the lovely Steinberggasse stage from Sigur Rós (so excited! But if you haven’t gotten tix yet you are sadly out of luck – the gig is sold out), Get Well Soon, The Hives, and Franz Ferdinand.
I can’t wait – what a perfect way to finish off the summer, don’t you think?
The 37th Winterthurer Musikfestwochen runs from 15-26th August 2012. Tix here.
